Stan grew up in Greensboro, NC. He attended Virginia Episcopal School for high school and graduated from NC State University.  He represents the fourth generation of his family to be in the food industry, and feels thankful that he was born into it. 

Stan began working with his grandfather part time while in college, then joined full time in 1977.  He has been married to his wonderful wife for nineteen years, and they have one daughter who is the love of their life.  He loves spending time with his family, whether it’s around the house or on the lake.  He once drove a car in Germany up to 191 kph on the Autobahn.  Time moves very quickly at that speed.
